IEEE standard and MAC stack for Panstamp

Dear all,
I'm using Panstamp NRG 2.0 which is based on CC430 (MSP430™ microcontroller+ CC1101 radio).
I would like to know if CC430 is compatible with IEEE 802.15.4 standard (PHY), because it is not specified in its datasheet?
Is there a MAC stack for CC430?
