Hi,
I connected my panstamps directly with TIs RFStudio to be able to play with the register settings directly in order to find my optimum.
I reduced the data rate as much as possible to 0.6kBaud (starting with TI's preset of the 1.2kBaud optimized for sensitivity) to get the best sensitivity with good results.
Now that I found the correct register settings (0.6 kBaud, 16kHz deviation, 58kHz RX Filter BW), I wanted to implement those in the panstamp firmware.
But when I try to modify the corresponding registers in cc430radio.h, no packets seems to get sent. I have checked all registers in cc430radio.h and compared to RF Studio's settings to modify all changes.
When using the 38.4kBaud preset from TI and modifying this down to 4.8kBaud, everything works.
Any idea why I cannot get 0.6kBaud running on the panstamp firmware? Also the 1.2kBaud did not work, btw.
Thanks for your help,
Henry
